Company Identity

National Security Service, LLC (NSS) is a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of New York and has been in continuous operation since 2002. Our headquarters is in Westchester County NY, and we operate a central-command field office in New York City. NSS also operates 437 field offices across all 50 states and serves clients in every major economic sector, including retail, healthcare, financial services, education, construction, hospitality, government, and residential communities.

Licensing and Regulatory Compliance

NSS holds a New York State Watch Guard Agency license issued by the New York State Department of State (DOS), Division of Licensing Services. This license authorizes NSS to provide security guard services and to employ and direct licensed security guards within the State of New York and, through reciprocal agreements and state-by-state compliance, throughout the United States.

Security guard services are among the most heavily regulated professional service industries in the United States. Each state imposes its own licensing, registration, training, and insurance requirements on security companies and individual officers. NSS maintains compliance with applicable licensing requirements in every state in which it operates. Our subcontractor affiliates — the licensed security agencies that fulfill assignments on behalf of NSS clients — are required to maintain the required licensing credentials for the jurisdictions in which they work.

NSS does not place unlicensed personnel in jurisdictions requiring licensure. Clients who require documentation of state-specific compliance for their jurisdiction may request it by contacting our administrative office.

Insurance and Liability

NSS maintains commercial general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage appropriate to the scope and scale of our operations. Additionally, we always stand ready to satisfy our clients' compliance, vendor onboarding, and risk management requirements. All clients will, upon request, be designated as Additional Insured under our insurance policies. And Clients with specific insurance requirements — such as minimum coverage limits, additional insured endorsement language, or waivers of subrogation — should communicate those requirements at the time of engagement so that appropriate documentation can be provided.

Staffing Model and Subcontractor Accountability

NSS operates using a subcontractor-based staffing model. Security personnel deployed on client assignments are provided by rigorously credentialled affiliated subcontractors who operate under written agreements with NSS that establish performance standards, conduct requirements, licensing compliance obligations, and client service expectations. This model allows NSS to maintain a flexible, nationwide workforce while ensuring that every individual placed on an assignment meets NSS's minimum qualification standards.

NSS does not compromise on the core requirements for subcontractor participation: valid jurisdiction-appropriate licensure, professional background, client-service orientation, and adherence to post orders and site-specific instructions. Subcontractors who fail to meet these standards are removed from NSS's active roster.

Data Handling and Client Confidentiality

Information provided to NSS by clients in connection with service engagements — including facility details, staffing schedules, post orders, contact information, and any sensitive site intelligence — is treated as confidential. NSS does not sell, share, or disclose client information to third parties except as necessary to fulfill the service engagement or as required by law.

Ethical Business Practices

NSS is committed to conducting business with integrity at every level of our organization. We do not engage in deceptive advertising, misrepresent our capabilities or coverage, or make guarantees about security outcomes that no responsible security provider can make. Our proposals and contracts clearly describe the scope of services, pricing structure, and terms of engagement. We encourage prospective clients to ask questions, request references, and perform their own due diligence before entering into a service agreement.

NSS does not discriminate in the provision of services or in the selection of subcontractors on the basis of race, color, gender, religion, national origin, age, disability, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal or state law.

Clients, subcontractors, or members of the public who have a concern about NSS's business practices, the conduct of personnel on an NSS assignment, or any matter related to our services are encouraged to contact us directly. We take all concerns seriously and commit to responding promptly and professionally.
